Dining

Dining Options:

Here are a few of our favorites, with the nearest places at the top of the list, because who wants to drive once you’re here?  We’ll warn you that we prefer locally-owned places serving home-cooked food at a reasonable price.  If we can find whole grains and gluten free options, we’re even happier.

Dining In:

The Newell Post in Penacook (603-228-0522) has an excellent catering menu.  We call your attention to their Take-Home dinners, Holiday-Meals-To-Go and On-site Barbeques  for those nights you just want to stay home.  Deb and Dave are flexible and will make what you want if you give them some notice.  If you order early enough, they may be able to deliver. The Everyday Café (603-746-6041) offers a catering menu and we can vouch for the smoked Barbecue dinners.   These people are about 11.5 miles away, so you would probably have to pick it up yourself, but it’s a pretty drive over back roads.  Bring your GPS. To go to their website click here.

The CleanTake in Concord (603) 715-1498, caters to the health conscious, particularly those on low-carb diets and Lyme survivors.  Don’t let that scare you.  Jane’s cooking is wonderful.  Order ahead and we can have your food waiting for you at Riverland when you arrive.
